The Critter Carver, commonly known as Paul Bidan, began chainsaw carving five years ago at his cottage near Magnetawan, Ontario. After years of carving, this hobby has become a form of chainsaw therapy for Paul. It’s his escape from work and the stresses of life. Attending events like the Wood N Things Rendezvous in Magnetawan, Dockside Festival in Gravenhurst, Winterama in Penetanguishine and the Gravenhurst Carving Festival, Paul has been featured on the news and in the paper several times. His following continues to grow as customers return time and again to purchase more of his amazing carvings. When he isn’t busy creating masterpieces, Paul spends his time with his wife Penny, son Cory and faithful dog Gunner at their home in Innisfil, Ontario.
